Funding available for conflict mitigation projects

An international organization contacted INSAN to inform them about a program they have launched about conflict mitigation. They are funding local NGOs to implement small projects in the 18 governorates of Iraq. Contact us in order to obtain more information and we will provide your direct contact details to this organization.

6 Change projects implemented in the frame of the training program

At the closure of the second training workshop in August 2008, proposals for change-projects were submitted by participants. 6 change-projects were selected by INSAN for funding. Each project aims at solving cases of conflicts analyzed by participants which are happening in their own environment.

Projects were selected on the nature of activities suggested and include: organization of art galleries, football match, water day campaign, radio shows awareness and capacity building for media.
